If you will allow me to engage in a form of self-depreciation for just a few moments? Well ... let me just say that my usual trading and investing week is such that I outline a few markets in which I see opportunities before the week begins. This “weekly outline” is what you see with each successive newsletter. Then, as the week progresses from that point onwards, I continue to filter and 'zero in' on what I believe will be profitable market movements throughout the week. Some trades I have to pitch in the garbage immediately. In fact, the vast majority of trades I pitch in the garbage. I usually find one or two trades with a good risk / reward ratio. Some of those do not work out towards a profit, but again ... the risk reward ratio comes into play, and keeps me safe and profitable overall.
