Happy New Year Davian Letter!

Before I show you guys my 2010 Kick-Off Vlogs (Two Parts), I thought I'd give you a run-down on my 2010 goals and projects.

First off, I'm in the midst of doing extensive research on the Biotechnology industry which I feel will be the industry of the new decade and the future of American prosperity.  As some of you may have seen over the past two to three weeks, every Tuesday evening I'll be putting out a "Biotech Blitz" vlog that covers five of my favorite Biotech stocks that I've researched.  So far, I've completed the A's and the B's (a total of 33 tickers) and have 139 stocks to go.  Some may see this as a waste of time, but as I continue to research these different companies, I've realized the ingenuity and the careful research all of these companies, Micro to Large Cap, are doing in their line of business.  Having a background of the entire industry and choosing specific tickers after researching the entire industry is my plan, and my target timeline to release a Biotechnology newsletter will be April 2010 (start of Q2).

My second project of the year is to do a ton of Options research in order to prepare myself for Options trading beginning at the start of Q3.  I've been watching different stocks and have compiled a list of Large Cap companies that are extremely liquid and that have the best price movement patterns to trade out-of-the-money Options with.  I am extremely excited to branch into this line of trading and hope to eventually put out an Options news letter in the middle of 2011.

My third endeavor is to make this year the Year of the Moose.  Last year was one hell of a learning experience, but the income and money making wasn't all there.  I was beating myself up last week for some of the stupid mistakes I made during 2009, and then I stopped to sit and think about my current situation:  November 13, 2009 marked the end of my Rookie year in the Stock Market as an active trader.  Although I didn't do much last year at all when it comes to gains, I gained an incomprehensible amount of knowledge that will never leave my trading style as long as I live.  After this self-therapy session, I went back to my blog to find my investing and trading rules I designed after getting murdered last January (RULES).  These rules, although more mental rules than physical trading rules, allowed me to relax and trade well for a couple of months in a row.  I found myself enjoying the trading game, and that's what will make you the money - relaxing, trading based off of your skills, and being OBJECTIVE rather than SUBJECTIVE.

The next "Moose Outlook" will be arriving on January 19th during Pre-Market.  Tomorrow night is "Biotech Blitz," Thursday evening is "Thunder Thursday," and either Wednesday or Friday I'll be putting out a blog concerning current events that have just pissed me off lately (a little Moose Rant if you will).
